Star Fyre is Real Fyre’s brightest and most reflective crushed glass, producing an ice-like effect that turns a burner pan into something closer to a bed of crystals. Light enters each piece and refracts back out at multiple angles, which is what produces the characteristic sparkle the color is named for.
The pieces are tumbled during manufacturing to smooth the edges, making Star Fyre easier to handle during installation and safer around fire tables and seating areas where people are likely to touch the surface.
It is fully tempered “toughened” glass, fire tested to 1200°F by R.H. Peterson’s accredited laboratory, and formulated to hold its clarity and brilliance indefinitely without clouding or discoloring.
