The 430 is a smaller version of the 616 gas insert and designed to replicate a traditional open fireplace; accomplished by a huge glass viewing area that extends all the way to the hearth. The clean look insert features a maximum gas input of 31,000 BTUs/Hr that can be turned down to 11,241(NG), 7,702 (LP) BTUs/Hr. This allows you up to a 65% turndown ratio so you can still enjoy your fire even when you do not need the heat.
The 430 comes full loaded with the GreenSmart remote that controls burner on/off, flame height, fan, accent lights, and IPI/CPI pilot settings. The “set-it-and-forget-it” Smart Thermostat keeps pace with the other hi-tech gadgets in homes by turning the 430 into a fully automated intelligent appliance. The DC battery back-up allows the 430 to work even during power outages!
The 430 features standard accent lights to illuminate the back of the firebox from behind the back log and also from the top of the firebox as well, showcasing the logs and fireback of your choice. You have the flexibility of 2 different interior medias (Traditional Logs or Driftwood Fire Art) that will appeal to a wide variety of customers and lifestyles. NOTE: Driftwood logs available later July 2013) Firebacks are required on the 430. You have the choice of 5 different fireback looks giving you the ability to personalize the interior of the insert to suit any look you’d like.
