The Bird’s Nest is what happens when a fire pit burner is treated as a design object. A woven cage of steel rods sits above the included round burner, and when the fire is lit the flame rises through the structure, wrapping the rods in light and casting a shifting pattern of shadow across the surrounding surface.
Each Bird’s Nest is individually handcrafted, so no two are identical. Unlit, it holds its own as a piece of sculpture on the patio, which solves the problem most fire features have during daylight hours.
The Outdoor Plus builds it in milled steel or 304 stainless steel, with marine grade 316 stainless available for coastal and high-salt environments. The included burner is drilled with staggered ports for a fuller, more even flame across the surface, and raised gas inlets help keep water out of the gas line.
